A gem. Very traditional and reasonably priced, it feels like you’re in the countryside of Japan. Besides nigiri, they have a great kitchen menu.

Super cute restaurant. Come here if you want very cozy, lowkey vibes. The seafood nabe was good, although portion was kind of small for the price. All the sushi and nigiri was solid, like you’d expect from any humble Japanese restaurant. Super extensive menu, so a lot of options to try from!

Had such a beautiful dinner here - will definitely be back! The sushi and sashimi were delicious, and all of the cooked dishes were fantastic. Service was exceptional. A very special place!

A small family run izakaya tucked into the far end corner of a strip of restaurants. Easy to overlook if one drives by too quickly. Run by an older couple, it has a very cosy atmosphere with authentic izakaya style tapas. The seabream and kohada was very fresh the day we went, the tuna was prepped well. The sashimi was properly cut and everything was exquisitely prepared by the owner chef.

Fukuno Restaurant is a hidden gem! No need to go to Japan, this is an even better experience. We were served by a kind older Japanese duo. The sushi was incredibly fresh. Other side dishes like pumpkin, eggplant, and bamboo shoots were delicious. Everything was fantastic and I would come here again in a heartbeat.

This family-run place has been rocking since 1994. I cannot recommend it enough! Standout dishes include the Gindara Misoyaki, the Tori Kushiyaki Yuzukosho, Yakinasu, and their pressed sushi. This place doesn’t miss, and includes a wide variety of sake + Japanese beer to complement your meal. Recommendations strongly encouraged, and small groups only, but totally worth it!

Unassuming little restaurant owner by an older couple. Food is prepared with so much care and is always fresh. Highly recommend the place for anyone looking for Izakaya style Japanese food

This place is underrated and should deserve more "LIKE"! Very authentic family style Japanese Kappo restaurant. This place is very small but it is very comfortable inside. I highly recommend the grilled oyster, sushi, sashimi, black cod and the signature chirashi bowl. Their sashimi is very fresh and the chirashi bowl is worth the price. The restaurant is located inside a small plaza next to the famous Japanese Nagomi Cake house. Quick tips: This place will take some time to prepare your foods. Just chill and be patient.
